In January 2016 my husband and I opened the first Jump! Swim Schools franchise in SA at Hackham and were awarded the ASSA Inclusive Swimming Award for 2016. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn to swim.The swim school quickly gained popularity and we reached our peak capacity in just over 12 months, winning the AUSTSWIM SA Swim School of the Year in 2018.We have now opened our second Jump! in SA which looks like being just as successful!...and then the husband bought a 3rd one here in Melbourne (which has now closed permanently, in part due to COVID-19)I am an experienced and passionate aquatics trainer with excellent customer service and management skills. I have worked in many roles in the aquatics industry including swim school management and course trainer and assessor for various RTOs. I was also a contractor for WWSS for a short -time training clients to use the DITA platform.I have a strong background in customer service having worked in various parts of government for many years. I am a member of the Golden Key Society due to my excellent academic results at UniSA and graduated with a degree in Sport and Recreation Management in 2016.As part of my studies I completed a management placement at my local council where I gained an understanding of recreation planning for the future.My current passion is uniting the training and assessing aspects of the aquatics industry with the goal of making it simpler and more cost effective for anyone to become a teacher of swimming and water safety, a nationally accepted accreditation regardless of the course provider.
