Shashank is a multi-disciplinary designer with more than 10+ years of experience, having varied expertise in the field of Architecture, Interiors, Graphics, Web-design, Fabrication, Education and Research. My passion lies in blending art and technology while keeping designs and myself future-proof. Founder of Simple.Complex - an International design studio with a goal of integrating design2production methodology solving complex designs and implementation.In the past, I have assisted architects and designers as a Researcher; Competition Head and as an Industrial designer for development of 'Interactive Facades' and 'Plane Hangars'. I have been a fabrication consultant for FabLab Barcelona where I specialized in CNC Milling, Laser cutting & 3D Printing techniques aiding designers and architects. The Endesa world fab pavilion for the 10th FabLab Conference was one such project (fab10.org/en/fab-condenser).Keeping myself diverse, I have spear-headed projects such as 'uTweak' - an online platform to customize furniture (utweak.net) ; 'Twistab' - a ready to assemble furniture line (twistab.org) and been a fabrication consultant for 'mini-builders' - small robots printing big structures (robots.iaac.net)I have been a chief Graphic Designer and Publication Assistant for Urban Design Research Institute (UDRI) Mumbai and worked on projects related to documentation of Mumbai City and Restoration projects for a World Heritage Site in India with UNESCO.
