• The role of the Process Leader is a key member of the manufacturing leadership team responsible for all aspects of process control, small to medium size project management, leadership of personnel, new product introduction and existing product development. • Responsible for Increasing efficiency, preventing stoppages, solving problems, application of Kaizen, 5S processes and lean production systems into production area.• Heavily involved with senior management team members for cost / price setting for machined aerospace grade plate.• Implementing and developing cost engineering principles to fulfil Plate, Sheet, and Machined plate RFI & RFQ enquiries from multiple airframe manufacturers (Airbus & Embraer). • Key member of a cross functional team working with finance, S&OP, Quality/Technical, manufacturing, and external consultants to ensure all cost information is captured and verified in making business planning and strategic pricing decisions.• Informing senior management team of risks and opportunities to cost drivers with the implementation of new growth strategy for machining aerospace plate.• Interrogate SAP for actual manufacturing hours, analysing routings, standards, and validating with the Manufacturing team.• Develop cost configurators and support LEAN initiatives for continuous improvement throughout the supply chain. • Quality /Technical SPA for a total of 5 manufacturing processes these include, Stretchers, Final Sawing, Precipitation Treatment & CNC processes.
