KibaKibi is an e-commerce marketplace for people living in semi-urban & rural areas of NorthEast India. Launched in Assam, the KibaKibi android app helps customers choose from 80+ categories and over 50,000+ products while offering home delivery to majorly all pin code, including the most remote areas of the region. As part of our business model, our goal was to create a physical touchpoint in every village of NorthEast India, that would act as a pickup-delivery point for customers & retailers, which helps in providing faster delivery to the most remote areas of the region and also adds to the socio-economic growth of the people living in the semi-urban/rural areas. As a co-founder & COO, I managed the tech development, logistics, marketing, and sales. I was also responsible for category/catalog management, and product/vendor acquisition. I single handedly onboarded 50+ sellers across 10+ categories and some of the well-knwon brands United Colors of Benetton, Clarks, Redtape, Pepe Jeans, Donear, Libas, to name a few. Apart from handling daily operations, I was also responsible for executing various business plans & strategies for effective commerce in the region. Before shutting down in Dec 2019, KibaKibi also explored a B2B model, providing a wholesale product catalog of consumer goods, household items & electronics for retails & traders in the NorthEast region.

My role as a co-founder & CEO gave me a chance to learn about various operations required to build a company from scratch. Following a lean methodology, we created a product for Lawyers that helped them increase walk-in's to their firms & create business in return. With a revenue first strategy, we offered a subscription based product for Lawyers & served over 200+ Business Lawyers & Law Firms across Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad & Pune. We also created a discovery platform for individuals looking to hire lawyers for business related requirements, and served more than 3000+ businesses. We regularly organised offline events for entreprenerus & startup to learn about various legal topics critical for startup/business growth. Lawyered was jointly acquired by India Accelerator & a former executive from Lexisnexis India in April 2018 in an all cash deal -

I worked with TCS as a Software developer & got a chance to work on various development platform. I was part of a team project for Qantas Airlines, and worked in the supply-chain team. My role as a developer was to develop modules for the mainframe platform responsible for managing the inventory of various airline parts. I also fixed issues related to the supply platform as as part of my support role.

I joined TCS as a fresher & was appointed the Group representative during the Initial Learning Program. I was responsible for managing everyday operations & processes for a cohort of 50 trainees. During my training, I also learned about the workings of IT industry with hand-on experience in business skills & software development.
