About Shashank Gowdagiri
Experienced Software Development Engineer with a Master's degree from USC and an MBA From BU. I currently work on Veeva’s Cloud Enterprise Content Management Platform, Vault. Previously, I worked on the MATLAB Grader Team at MathWorks, an auto-grading tool used by universities worldwide to teach engineering students course concepts using MATLAB, MOOCs to teach courses of interest, and publishers as they integrate MATLAB content within their e-books. Familiar with all aspects of development, from design, prototyping, and testing to delivery and maintenance, I am also a certified AWS solutions architect. I have five simple professional values:- People are the single most important resource any company has. Treat everybody right, at work and outside. - Show, don’t tell. Results matter more than discussions about how to achieve them. - Let's get the work done, get feedback from customers, and iterate. There is no substitute for critical feedback. - Nothing is more important than integrity, accountability, and being able to say "I messed up" and being able to say with confidence that it won't happen again. - Coffee is a man's best friend. Along with dogs. The MBA has helped me integrate technical and business requirements and solve customer challenges. In addition, my years of experience in the industry have helped me further my knowledge about how good and bad businesses are run and made me a better engineer, leader, and human.
