I have been building companies in technology and science for 20+ years. Recent exits include Research Square and American Journal Experts, which are now part of Springer Nature Group, one of the world's largest academic publishers. I previously helped build MarkLogic, a Sequoia Capital funded company, as well as bootstrapped and angel-funded companies. I am now building ScholarAI, the most popular science plugin on ChatGPT. We build a co-pilot that amplifies our best knowledge workers, especially physicians and researchers. I attended Duke University for undergrad and MBA. I got involved in startups in college. I tried consulting and banking, but neither had the juice for me. After undergrad, I spent some time in DC working with a high level clearance on government projects. I am a member of Tiger21.
