Exciting Journey Completed: Mentoring Program at South Asia Gateway Terminal (SAGT)I am thrilled to announce the successful completion of an enriching mentoring program offered by the Department of Transport Management and Logistics Engineering at the University of Moratuwa. Over the span of eight months, from September to April, I had the incredible opportunity to delve into the dynamic world of the maritime industry through my participation in this program.SAGT, as the main terminal in the bustling Colombo Port, Sri Lanka, provided an exceptional backdrop for our mentoring sessions. Under the guidance of industry experts and my esteemed mentor, Ayesha Aberatne, I gained invaluable insights into various facets of the maritime sector. From understanding terminal operations to navigating the complexities of supply chain logistics, each session was a treasure trove of knowledge and practical learning.One of the highlights of this journey was the opportunity to hone my presentation skills and interact with seasoned professionals from the industry.
