Key Responsibilities & Achievements:• Ensured consistent growth & effective management of Commercial Banking & Small & Medium Enterprise (SME) portfolio with approved banking limits of ~PKR 2.2 Billion (USD 20.0 Million) that translated into yearly target achievement of 101.0% (USD 0.39 Million) in 2017 & 75.0% (USD 0.40 Million) up to 3Q2018 respectively.• Performed detailed credit appraisals and internal reporting on an ongoing basis, in compliance with internal & central bank (State Bank of Pakistan) policies & regulations for a diversified portfolio of clients from the following industries: Insurance, Travel & Tourism, Plastic Bottling / Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Printing & Packaging.• Targeted project-based requirements of Commercial / SME clients, by developing complex credit structures, reviewing financial models, conducting due diligence to determine the risk acceptance and project viability.• Provided advisory on various financial products and investment avenues by highlighting key elements of risks, mitigations and returns. These avenues included mobilization and placement of financial investments, financing & credit structuring, trade finance, project financing, rescheduling & re-profiling of loans. • Implemented & streamlined the Umrah Guarantee Program (Pan-Pakistan) - a specialized bank product catering to the business requirements of religious tourism operators / Travel Agents that led to a yearly income of ~PKR 16.1 Million (USD 0.15 Million) in 2016 / 2017 season.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:• Conducted regular credit risk evaluation, timely account operations, compliance & monitoring for a client portfolio (under diversified industrial segments) with active banking limits of PKR 13.0 Billion (USD 123.8 Million) in order to meet yearly targets.• Implemented & negotiated financing, security, & other related agreements with customers / consortium banks in collaboration with legal counsels, in order to secure lender as well as customer interest.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:• Conducted timely execution of corporate transactions for a portfolio consisting of total banking limits (funded + non-funded) of PKR 52.0 Billion (USD 520.0 Million).• Performed credit risk evaluation & financial modeling / analysis of corporate relationships as per internal & central bank's lending directives thereby ensuring effective portfolio housekeeping.• Liaised between Operations, Treasury and Corporate Banking Departments to ensure client business is optimally facilitated that resulted in a yearly trade volume of PKR 45.6 Billion (USD 456.0 Million) & an average funded outstanding of PKR 21.8 Billion (USD 218.0 Million).

Responsibilities included (but not limited to):• Facilitated the distribution team in meeting monthly primary sales targets for Pharmaceutical Products and Vaccines (Pan-Pakistan) of ~PKR 600.0 Million (USD 6.0 Million) via SAP system.• Reported market sales progress to concerned business units & management committee by regularly consolidating and updating Supply Chain data for both distributor & end-consumer sales. • Coordinated with distributors (business partners), medical institutions and internal departments for timely sales order generation and collection payments based on monthly business plans.

• Prepared a business case for the sourcing of thermal coal into Pakistan to meet energy requirements which laid the foundation for setting up the coal trading desk at Engro Corporation Limited with annual import volumes of ~300,000 metric tons. • Prepared a detailed Freight Market Study to evaluate the possibility of Free on Board (FOB) commodity imports (DAP fertilizer, palm oil grades & sugar) on behalf of sister companies (viz. Engro Fertilizers Limited & Engro Foods Limited) by conducting a cost benefit analysis with existing Cost & Freight (CNF) import operations at Pakistan's largest conglomerate.

• Assessed alternative packaging options (local + international machine vendors) for Juice and Dairy segments by analyzing KPIs and value chain for each option in order to improve production efficiency and overall profitability.• Prepared a comprehensive data grid of macro-economic indicators of Middle East & North African (MENA) countries which served as a reference guide for senior management studying overseas business expansion.
