I am a PhD candidate in Political Science at Vanderbilt University. My research lies at the intersections of comparative political economy and political behavior, with a specific emphasis on migration, accountability, and identity politics in South Asia. I triangulate observational, experimental, and qualitative approaches, using diverse data sources such as panel designs, original household surveys, experiments, focus groups, and extensive ethnographic fieldwork. My research has been generously supported by the American Political Science Association, the American Institute of Indian Studies, and SurveyCTO.
