I have been a nurse since 2012. I am currently working as a circulating nurse in the operating room. I have been in this field of nursing since 2018. My passion is the operating room and helping lead the way to improvements in patient safety and care in this area of nursing. I trained at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Temple, TX, a level 1 trauma center, for 4 years. Here I thrived in the fast paced atmosphere that comes along with a trauma center. I have recently moved over to Central Texas Veterans Healthcare System to focus on the health and wellbeing of our Veterans and heroes. I am currently attending Western Governor's University in the Master of Science in Nursing - Leadership and Management program with the goal of taking over as Director of Nursing in the Operating Room.
