I’m a Chartered Accountant (CA) and have been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland since October 2023. I work at Deloitte LLP and am a Tax Consultant (Assistant Manager) in the Global Tax Accounting Group working primarily with private equity backed businesses. My role involves assisting clients with tax accounting matters, working on tax audits and helping clients with the preparation and filing of their corporation tax returns. I’m also the treasurer of YMCA Northumberland and I chair the Finance Committee. It is my responsibility to ensure that the organisation is financially sustainable and we work as a board to ensure that our staff members have everything they need to provide the young people of Northumberland with as much support as possible.
