Responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of both new product development (NPI) and contract manufacturing (CM) projects while remaining aligned with the the business strategy, commitment to customer service and the goals of the organization.Responsibilities:- Plan and implement projects- Define project scope, goals and deliverables- Define tasks and required resources- Manage project budgets- Allocate project resources- Create project schedules and timelines- Support and direct teams, both internal and external- Lead quality assurance- Report on the project status- Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as risks and solutions- Implement and manage changes when necessary to meet project deliverables- Evaluate and assess the result of the project

Projects include but not limited to Reliability/Sustaining, Value Analysis (VA), and New Product Development (NPI). Consisting; in the form of competitive analysis, new product designs, validation testing, and technical product literature. Collection and data analyses within a variety of ISO certified labs; meeting DOE, CSA, UL, and AMCA agency standards.• Product requirements management through comprehensive business plans.• Research perspective suppliers through requirements management and unit pricing structures.• Create engineering design specifications, generate bill of material (BOM), conduct design failure mode and analysis (DFMEA), and production customer facing documents. • Develop both reliability and NPI validation test plans. Ensuring product reediness through prototype hardware fixturing, both electronic and electrical. • Design, develop, and test mechanical equipment and tooling (specification and requirements validation).• Requirement’s definition and manufacturing run test creation as it pertains to production model builds.• Provide design engineering support to both manufacturing and quality engineering for current and new products within product portfolio.• Evaluate inventory tracking and determine component selection for both primary and alternate part variations.• Analyze commercial and residential control systems according to customer drawings, written instructions, and various customer provided specifications.• Provide product application installation assistance through product selection, and customer orders.• Technical installation support through various forms of communication (phone, email, and/or Microsoft Teams).• Deliver internal and external direction and guidance to drafters, model makers, technicians, engineers, andsoftware development programmers to ensure timely implementation of products or process improvements.

Ensuring customer satisfaction through quality of repairs. Inspection and repair consumer electronics through test equipment. Troubleshooting to the electronic component level.• Test and repair electronic circuits through use of wiring diagrams and schematics. Detailing the process through in-depth technical documentation. I.E., electronic component level and applicable electronic circuitry.• Preventative maintenance inspections both scheduled and non-scheduled using various test equipment. I.E., signal generators, oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, power analyzers, and radio frequency (RF) analyzers.• Working control system knowledge/ability to read and following airflow, hydraulic, and electrical diagrams.• Hands on knowledge working single phase and 3-phase voltages as they relate to motors, contactors, breakers,transformers, and variable frequency drives (VFD).
