HPS provide a comprehensive range of services from minor breakdown repairs to full turnkey project management.As a company HPS specialize in design, manufacture and installation of process and services pipe work systems, process and storage vessels, product recovery systems and mechanical/electrical relocation/installation.As the Operation Manager I was responsible for all the day to day operations at the company’s base in Halifax and at our client’s sites across the UK and Europe which include, manufacturing, purchasing, Health & Safety, Quality and Personnel with teams of employees and contractors.

Ortho-Europe is a multi-sited company within the Ability Technology Group, who manufacture and supply Prosthetics and Orthotics to Hospitals and private clinics around the world. Head office and the Prosthetics division are based in Abingdon, Oxford whilst the Orthotics division is in Bradford, manufacturing bespoke Orthotic devices, including AFO’s, KAFO’s, surgical insoles (TCI’s), bespoke and modular footwear. There is also a retail shop and three private clinic facilities on site. Other sites include Holland, France and Ireland. As General Manager I was responsible for the full operational running of the Bradford site, which includes manufacturing, accounts, purchasing, Health & Safety, Quality and business and Personnel development.

Dawson-Koti is a stand alone company within the Koti Group, who are one of the largest European manufacturers of industrial and technical brushes. The KOTI group consists of bases within six European countries. Dawson-Koti is responsible for all business within the United Kingdom and exports to the Europe, the USA and the Far East. KOTI’s head office is in Holland.My responsibilities here at Dawson - Koti cover the full scope of UK business, accounts, manufacturing, engineering, sales, purchasing, marketing, health & safety and all operational services. I was brought in to stabilize current business and to set our foundations, implement the necessary change and build for our future growth.

Northern Plastics are one of the industry leaders in the manufacture and supply of high integrity pressure and vacuum vessels, bulk storage tanks, corrosion resistance linings for metal vessels, gas scrubbing equipment, cooling towers, process plant and equipment from GRP, composite materials, thermoplastics and high integrity fluoro plastics. We manufactured vessels and process components and worked on site at most of the major petro-chemical and water sites across the UK.

Heywood Williams are a market leader in the steel and aluminium architectural design, manufacture and installation of large shopping complex’s (white rose & glass Houghton), train stations etc to small projects, shop fronts & garage fore courts.

• Implementation of World Class Manufacturing, saving £115,000 per annum on one cell, whilst developing other departments.• Managed departments with over 80 personnel over a 3-shift system.• Involved in the development of all new products and design and commissioning of new machinery, jigs and workstations.• Co-wrote employee Health & Safety booklet and all departmental Health & Safety instructions.• Handling of small to large projects including two factory moves and new manufacturing layout plans.
