Organize and manage monthly case load to complete assigned surveys interviewing households or persons. Occassionally travel out of town to assist outlying areas. Perform inperson interviews at addresses scientifically selected in advance. In some cases a telphone interview is necessarry collect social and economic data needed by the federal government, American business and industry, and public and private interest groups. Learn to overcome objection as people selected for the survey sample may not wish to participate and it is the job of the field representative to help them to understand the importance of their participation.

As an Enumerator, I completed research in specific areas. After receiving assignments I would begin by reviewing the assigned visits and draft an efficient travel route, travel to designated households and conduct interviews with residents. It was required that I identify myself and display provided credentials. Complete the census interview using company provided electronic tools. During the interview I was responsible for verifying household addresses and ensuring that all maps and address lists are correct. Identify for correction any discrepancies I encounter in existing census data. Upload collected census information, as well as documentation of hours, miles and expenses encountered.
