I served 12 years as a Non Commissioned Officer in the Coldstream Guards and 23 years as a Station Commander in the London Fire Brigade. As a Station Commander I was responsible for the management, training and development of Fire Fighting personnel. Crisis management, technical rescue and commanding dynamic operational incidents of all descriptions on a daily basis. I am a highly motivated and organized person with the ability to work both independently or as part of a team.During my time with LFB I served as a Technical Rescue Advisor at operational incidents, advising crews and Incident Commanders on all aspects of Rope Rescue, Swift Water Rescue and Large Animal Rescue.An Urban Search & Rescue (USAR) Instructor, I also served as a National Tactical Advisor for USAR, again advising crews and Incident Commanders across the country on all aspects of Urban Search & Rescue.I am also an International Technical Rescue Assosiation (ITRA) Urban Search & Rescue, Rope Rescue and Confined Space instructor.
