Spent 9 weeks researching and building training input then 13 weeks spent delivering classroom based intensive learning for 100's of police officers and police staff in Metropolitan Police. This was to build capability for go-live date for switch over to complete new comprehensive police data recording and management system covering almost all roles and aspects of policing. (CONNECT)

Under FCDO oversight worked with Red Snapper Managed Services and four other senior investigators to assist in the support and development of RTCIPF Major Crime team in respect to recent spike in shooting murders and International OGC activity. With 22 murders in one month and 32 in one calendar year local officers and resources had become overwhelmed. The initial phase was to familiarise with and assess existing capabilities and identify opportunities and skills/resources gaps. Then to augment the MIR facility and investigation capacity. Actively investigated new murder and att. murder and exploited unused local resources to create significant investigative gains. Met and worked with local TCI officers and staff. Learnt from them new cultural information and adopted sensitive approach to our presence.Withdrew from project after set-up phase due to other commitments.

Delivered One to One Coaching support for frontline response officers and specialist officers on teams investigating Child Abuse, Domestic Abuse, Missing Persons, Child Exploitation, Rape/Serious Sexual Offences and Indecent Images of Children ( incl YPSI). Delivered programme of briefings and presentations designed to create mindset change around 'voice of the child' and professional curiosity. Supported by The Childrens Society Charity. Passed on expertise and knowledge from major investigation SIO background. Simultaneously, assisted in assessing operations room safeguarding activity and resource co-ordination and recommended adjustments to current practice. Assisted with roll out of MPS 'Improve' Model that enabled better view of risk and created more consistent SLT management across the organisation.

In particular, in 2012 after a 6 week 'Trial of the Century' Shaun achieved the convictions of the most reported murder in the history of the Metropolitan Police for which Shaun and his whole team received a Commissioners Commendation and personally delivered thanks from a Baroness.
