I came to America because of stories.As a kid in Ireland I would lose my mind over the new Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, or whatever The Rock got up to that week on Smackdown. As I got older I realized I was spending a lot of my time talking about film and television with friends, coworkers, random people on the bus who were loudly discussing the Lost series finale or the latest Martin McDonagh movie. I would try and figure out why a certain story made me feel the way it did, why it left an impression on so many people, or why it didn't. And the stories I was interested in were coming from across the Atlantic.Fast forward and I land in grad school in Las Vegas, a stark contrast to the green fields of Galway. I did a TEDx Talk, worked on a PBS show, became Mr. UNLV, made a podcast, and met the woman of my dreams. Storytelling has been good to me, and I'm excited to see where it takes me next.Specialties include: running and teaching tabletop roleplaying games, film and TV development, writing, tracking, and editing story documents, finding talent, talking to people at all levels, and keeping a team or department on track and hitting deadlines.Please feel free to get in touch over LinkedIn, I'm always excited to meet new people over a cup of coffee, a pint of Guinness, or an overly complicated board game.
