I started my career in Corrections in Victoria during 2012 after 12 years working as a professional financial planner. I worked over 3 years at Port Phillip Prison (PPP) (male maximum security) as a correctional officer working mostly with main stream, high profile and SVO prisoners. I worked in nearly all areas of PPP including the State Management Unit (Charlotte). In November 2015, I commenced working at Corella Place moving into the Post Sentence area as a Specialist Case Worker (SCW) managing Victoria's highest priority sex offenders on supervision orders in a small team. After 1.5 years, another location was commissioned at Emu Creek, I remained working at that location until 2022 until this site was decommissioned. I was then offered a transfer to Rivergum Residential Treatment Centre (RRTC), an intensive rehabilitation facility for post-custodial offenders who are placed on court ordered Intensive Treament. In April 2023 I completed a Bachelor degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice at Griffith University QLD.
