I am an easy going and organised person with high attention to detail. I am lucky enough to be in a line of work that I find genuinely interesting and am always open to learning new things. I take great pride in my work, both from a technical and communicative perspective and make a concerted effort to learn from mistakes. I take health and safety very seriously and have received an award for thorough safety documentation and planning. I feel that I strike a good balance between the theoretical and the practical, which in my opinion is an important characteristic of an effective engineer. I have been involved in over 50 projects as an electrical engineer (with over half sharing dual roles as project manager) for a variety of utilities in Australasia across a range of voltage levels from 11 kV to 220 kV. Project highlights have included over three dozen equipment replacements at high voltage transmission substations and earthing tests/assessments for 70+ zone substations.
