Senior analyst in adoption and impact within the Medicines and Technologies Programme at NICE.Ensuring the technical quality of the impact team at NICE by reviewing and quality assuring the work of a group of data analysts who provide expertise to teams across NICE. In addition contributing to the development of impact reporting methods at NICE.

Technical lead on a range of quality standards topics such as psychosis and schizophrenia and atrial fibrillation. Also lead on technical aspects within the indicators programme which includes working on topic areas which may be developed in to national indicators, such as the quality outcomes framework (QOF) and the Clinical Commissioning Outcomes Indicator Set (CCGOIS).

Provide a lead on agreed programme elements of the NICE quality standards andindicators work. Lead on the development and maintenance of an effective processes to deliver theprogramme of work.Responsible for ensuring the quality of NICE quality standards and indicatorproducts, from initial exploratory work to working with the advisory committees through topublication.Ensure methods are appropriate and that the programme remains at the forefront ofdevelopments.

• Analysis of internal and external healthcare data including the use of specialist software packages including SQL, SSRS and QlickView. • Cross directorate project on safe staffing This demonstrated several trends to explain why the hospital became busier at certain times.• Providing information requirements into the trusts new electronic patient record (EPR) system. • Line management of an information officer who was on an apprenticeship within the department.

• Two month flexi-placement as part of my graduate management training scheme. It was an opportunity to learn best practice of large scale project management outside of the NHS, on the re-development of Manchester Central Library and Manchester Town Hall offices.• Analysis of data on the internal assets of Manchester central library. This included the management of antique pieces within the library in order that content insurance could be estimated for the council buildings.

• Programme officer within the informatics team at the Christie gaining first hand project management experience as well as part of a large scale programme management team.• Project lead for the installation of Microsoft Project Server across the trusts informatics department.• Part of the wider programme team that implemented the trusts Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system. Including business analysis of requirements of key stakeholders across the trusts. Also managed the trusts relationship between suppliers of EPR software.• Worked on EPR contract as part of the OJEU procurement process.
