I am a former senior financial services leader turned entrepreneur. I own and operate a luxury outdoor furniture business. My business centers around promotion through social media, online marketing, and Google ads; however, my business is also dependent on quality P2P interactions. I’ve managed to capture the attention of a 150 year old, local competitor with multimillion dollar annual revenues. I’ve been threatened with lawsuits (frivolously) and had vendors pressured to not do business with me. Some would see this as a negative, I see it as a sign that I’m disrupting an established industry. As clients more often turn to self-service options, many still desire human connection and expert advice. For a company to be successful the organization will need a best-in-class digital experience as well as P2P interactions. I enjoy sales, coaching, financial analysis, negotiating, achieving sales goals, and developing employees.
