Interim Finance Manager

To ensure this the organisation has invested in a new Mash Potato Factory to allow the production of ready made Mash Potato to support the pre-packed potato slices range.Branston is also a dedicated employer ensuring that it supports is 800 employees and local communities. This is a great recipe for the success of the business and to improve on its growth which currently stands at c£200m turnover.I am very pleased to be a part of this journey as the Interim Finance Manager and my responsibilities are but not limited to: -• Farming, Seed and Trading management accountant lead - Take lead responsibility for the monthly reporting for Farming, Seed and trading figures as reported into the management accounts. Ensure the accuracy of the figures and be able to articulate to the key stakeholders the variances to budget and prior year month on month. • Group stocks - Take the lead responsibility for the accuracy of the Group month end stock position. - Liaise with each of the • General Managers to ensure stock take procedures are being adhered to and perform periodic independent checks of their accuracy and adherence to policy. - Ensure all month end stock accounts are accurate, valued correctly and any stock write off risks are known and escalated upwards for review • Completion of the month end process, to include: o Post group prepayments and accruals o Review of prepayments and accruals o Review of balance sheet reconciliations as required o Analysis monthly variances versus budget• Support internal stakeholders in understanding financial data vs budget• Other adhoc projects requested by Head of Finance
