I am a talent acquisition specialist with 10 years experience in affectively addressing the recruitment needs of businesses. Currently based in the Northwest and working to meet the ambitious goals of Plug Me In to bring smarter energy to all.I began my career in recruitment at HomeServe. Here I filled a wide range of positions as the business grew and its needs evolved. I conducted group interviews, hosted recruitment events, vetted large numbers of candidates for entry level positions and liaised with external recruitment agencies.I was then brought onboard with a team developing a new phone app. In my role leading a team of 15, we sourced trades people in selected areas. Our methods ranged from a simple call from a member of my team and mailshots to events and private functions at premier league football clubs.As the scale of the task at hand grew, we implemented Salesforce as our ATS. As superuser, it was my responsibility to liaise with developers to finetune the system and migrate our existing data. I ensured that my team stayed in line with our aggressive expansion schedule while reporting daily updates and figures to CEO level.Following redundancy, I then joined Simpson Judge as an IT Specialist. This role gave me the opportunity to better understand the recruitment process as a whole and expand my knowledge of ERP/IT systems while working within a variety of industries.I then decided to make the move back to an internal recruitment function and joined Calisen. Initially I was responsible for all commercial recruitment across multiple businesses within the group including IT, supply chain management, HR, finance, marketing and operations up to Director level. Shortly after joining the group, we began the process of implementing a new ATS, while also merging several businesses under the banner of the Calisen Group. This streamlined recruitment processes across the group and brought the full responsibility of recruitment inhouse.I was then asked to move to Plug Me In – part of the Calisen Group. I now recruit technical field-based roles across the UK in the growing field of EV charging point and ASHP installation. I am responsible for establishing requirement, attraction, sourcing and finally onboarding candidates.I am passionate about recruitment and the work of the Calisen Group, you can often find me at charity, recruitment or industry specific events across the country.
