Alongside my academic achievements, I have been involved in the football industry for more than twenty years. Gaining a broader understanding of the specific challenges and priorities amongst stakeholders, having experienced how policies work in practice. Engaging with multiple stakeholders within the industry further developed my passion for the well-being and care of young players, motivating me to continue researching the development and protection of children in football. I wish to further my development and industry understanding surrounding children’s rights, regulations, and policies to improve the procedures in football recruitment.
