Vice President And Head Of Team & Arena Security
Current• Defines and executes the NBA’s team and arena security strategy which includes management across multiple leagues.• Responsible for the staffing and operations budget across multiple leagues and varied event types. • Performs strategic reviews of new technologies and methodologies that can support the League, teams and arenas.• Authoring and administration of multiple league security standards.• Leads an external stakeholder working group to identify and develop new game security operations and security standards. • Reviews and approves game security operations for events occurring outside of standard venues. • Manages the department’s annual arena audit and quality assurance testing program which includes vendor management and communications to senior team and arena executives.• Manages league resources to conduct complete and thorough on-court investigations, with conclusions supported by facts and details appropriate to the nature of the matter.• Leads the preparation of contemporaneous alerts and daily/weekly analytical products. • Administers multiple software applications that track game security operations, cost, incidents and investigations. • Develops collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to assist with league and team initiatives. • Develops metrics to assess the threat exposure of NBA arenas, properties, and global events.• Primary point of contact for managing game-related crises.
