The role entails effective and efficient management of the Centurion store and its three (3) satellite outlets that hire small plant, tools and equipment to Building and Civil Contractors, Plumbers, Electricians, DIY homeowners, etc. Main Responsibilities Include:● Optimum utilisation of staff through Operation Manager and Workshop Supervisor● Optimum utilisation and maintenance of tools and equipment● Ensuring income targets are met● Debtor control● Customer relations● Workshop expenses● Premises, systems and vehicle maintenance ● Workshop Management● Fleet Management (13 vehicles)● Site Facilities management (including Septic removal truck)● Counter Management● I was offered a partnership in the Company in 2011. Main Responsibilities Include:● Manage projects for Total and Shell Fuel stations – rebuilding the depots● Managing material, plant equipment and staff at each project● Finished site hand-overs● Planning of all resources and monitoring Project progress.● Client’s feedback on project progress. ● I had duties pertaining to the following areas: health and safety, security, maintenance, procurement, space management, and so on. ● Responsible for submitting all payment certificates based on project progress.● Completing/submitting and monitoring all variation orders based on project changes. ● I dealt with various contractors daily, negotiating and making decisions according to Project planning and business.● Ensuring all projects was completed on time with no injuries and within budget.
