Shaun Whitehead is the Director of Manufacturing, Vehicle Operations for Ford Motor Company. The development of the playbook considered State and Federal Guidelines, benchmarking within Manufacturing, CDC, the WHO. Shaun Whitehead previously served as the Director of Manufacturing, Transmission for Ford Motor Company, Global Director of Occupational Health & Safety for Ford Motor Company and President, Batavia Transmissions LLC of Ford Motor Company. During this time, she worked to transition a joint venture to Ford Motor ownership.Shaun has managed Seven facilities as Plant Manager, including Windsor Casting Plant, Romeo Engine Plant, Windsor Operations – 3 plant site and Van Dyke Transmission Plant which produced 1.3 Million, 67 different models for 24 different customers globally. During her time there, Van Dyke was recognized by Assembly Magazine as the Assembly Plant of the year, 2018. Shaun remains very active in several organizations within her profession and the community. She has been active in the Ford Employee Resource Group, Women of Ford - Manufacturing since 2000, currently serving as co-chair. In 2018, Shaun was recognized by Crain’s Detroit Business as one of the Notable Women in Manufacturing.Shaun attended Lawrence Institute of Technology in Southfield, Michigan, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Converted hourly and salaried employment structure of 1700 employees. Delivered a new transmission product to FMC within four months of company transition, launched at best in Ford customer satisfaction. Consecutive years of over 10% reductions in operating costs; 8% material cost reductions; and 12% hours per unit reduction. Warranty improvements in year 2006 resulted in 59% reduction in repairs/1000; 67% decrease in warranty costs per unit and 46% improvement on things gone wrong for 3 month in service. -
