As the director and owner of West Bay Pubs, I managed the operations and business planning of a pub inn in a scenic location. I was responsible for overseeing the staff, inventory, budget, and customer satisfaction, as well as ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. I successfully increased the revenue and profitability of the pub inn by implementing cost-effective strategies, enhancing the quality of service, and attracting more customers with innovative marketing campaigns and events.Prior to that, I worked as an operations manager at Aluna, a cocktail bar and restaurant chain, where I coordinated the daily operations of multiple venues, supervised the teams, and liaised with vendors and suppliers. I also contributed to the development and execution of new menus, promotions, and concepts, resulting in improved customer loyalty and retention. I leveraged my degree in Sports Studies from Plymouth Marjon University to apply my knowledge of sports management, marketing, and psychology to the hospitality industry.
