The past eleven years of my life I have had the privilege to work as an esthetician and build knowledge and skills that carry over through many aspects of life. My career as an esthetician and wax specialist is to maximize client comfort in vulnerable circumstances. For the first few years of my career almost every client was a stranger, and I had the task of immediately putting them at ease to allow them to feel comfort. This comes naturally to me. I have been lucky to be a sounding board for the good, the bad, and the ugly, especially related to a person’s healthcare experience. The stories shared with me, stay with me and make sure I can provide the best experience for my future patients. My work and life experience, along with practiced judgment during moments of emotional and physical exposure, make me an ideal nursing candidate. I’m interested in expanding my scope of practice and frame of reference, which is why I want to be considered as a candidate for a nursing position.
