CurrentACCOMPLISHMENTS- Secured 300+ interviews with print publications, including the Star-Ledger and Asbury Park Press, and 100+ interviews with radio and television stations, including NJ101.5 and NJTV- Published more than 150 op-eds and letters to editors in newspapers, including the Star-Ledger, Asbury Park Press and Courier Post- Recruited 50 new member organizations into NJAMHAA, including behavioral healthcare providers and corporations through impactful marketing campaigns; retained members through ongoing marketing and informational communications - Collaborated on developing six annual suicide-prevention conferences to date, co-sponsored with Attitudes In Reverse (AIR); developed all communications with presenters, all event marketing content and presented at each conference; since 2013, attendance has doubledRESPONSIBILITIES- Create op-eds, letters to editors and press releases; marketing materials (brochures, press releases and social media content) about training events and other membership services- Develop advocacy communications, including annual campaign, letters throughout the year and videos; collaborate with President/CEO to develop and implement advocacy strategies - Conduct research and compose keynote presentations for conferences and all media talking points for the President/CEO - Develop position papers and testimonies, presenting them to the Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee, Assembly Budget Committee and State Department Commissioners to encourage their actions to support the community behavioral healthcare system- Develop annual suicide prevention conference programs and marketing materials- Serve as a spokesperson on the New Jersey Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services’ Behavioral Health Planning Council, the Division’s Adult Suicide Prevention Advisory Council, and Department of Children and Family’s Youth Suicide Prevention Advisory Council- Serve as chief editor for all staff's written communication
