Shauna Wright is a highly skilled, nationally certified, and state licensed Lead Medical Assistant working in an Obstetrics and Gynecology clinic. After completing her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Medical Assisting from Centralia College in 2015, she embarked on an enriching path, including an externship in family medicine, a brief stint as an ER Tech, and ultimately found her home in a bustling women’s health clinic. Currently overseeing a team of medical assistants and managing day-to-day clinical activities, Shauna focuses on optimizing workflow efficiency, and contributing to the high-quality patient experience. Shauna’s involvement extends beyond her daily duties, as evidenced by her time spent working on the Centralia College Medical Assistant Advisory Board from 2015 to 2019. She also served as an EPIC Super User from 2016 to 2021, and an MA Onboarding Preceptor in 2018-2019. Her dedication to safety and efficiency is evident through her roles as a High Reliability Champion, Safety Champion, Quality Champion, Infection Prevention Champion, and Supply Ordering Champion. Additionally, she contributes actively as a member of the PMG Ladder IV Council and the PMG MA Ambulatory Council. Continuing her commitment to growth, Shauna is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work at UMass Global, aiming to augment her skills and contribute more comprehensively to healthcare.Academically, Shauna is proud to be a member of the Beta Gamma Delta Chapter of the Phi Alpha Honor Society for Social Workers at UMass Global, highlighting her commitment to excellence and continuous learning.Recently accepting a position as a Training Program Manager, Shauna aspires to bring her unique skill set to the educational environment. Shauna is enthusiastic about contributing to the healthcare field, blending her hands on experience with ongoing education and a passion for improving patient care and well-being.In her cherished free time, Shauna is an avid rock hounder and outdoor enthusiast. Whether she's transversing mountain trails or setting up camp under the stars, hiking, camping, and beach combing have become her outlets for tranquility and connection to nature.A celestial enthusiast, she spends time unraveling the mysteries of astrology, delving into the cosmic influences that shape our lives.
