Shauna Bowman founded Bowman Engineering & Consulting in 2007 as a civil engineering firm specializing in program management, planning, design and construction for capital imporement programs serving primarily public agencies and local governments. Responsible for design and project management of highway and transit projects including horizontal and vertical alignments, drainage plans and hydraulic calculations, grading plans, HEC-RAS analysis for bridges, signing and pavement markings, traffic control and environmental controls. Her highway experience includes the development of geometrics for roadway main lines and cross sections and the design of typical sections, signing, pavement markings and drainage design and hyrdraulic analysis using HEC-RAS. As a design engineer, Ms. Bowman has expertise in the preparation of final plans, specifications and estimates.
