Responsible for the day-to-day management of the general ledger (GL) and reporting out of the GL system. Participates in the mapping and coordination of sub ledger systems information into the general ledger. In addition, is responsible for creating general ledger reports to assist in management and regulatory reporting. Primary contact with IT department for efficient processing. Primary liaison for new products and implementation of those products on the general ledger. Responsible for the configuration of daily reporting of loan and deposit balances to the company as well as executive management.Works with the Financial Reporting Managers to configure reporting to help generate specific reporting for SEC, FRB and FDIC reporting. Assists in the preparation and delivery of periodic reports to the Board of Directors.Department lead on compliance with critical spreadsheets corporate policy.Facilitates compliance with internal audit, Sarbanes-Oxley, and all issues associated with maintaining a strong internal controls environment. Coordinates with SOX testing, internal audit, external audit, FRB & FDIC examination teams.

Provide SQL Server database administration; make decisions on roles and permissions related to applications.6. Oversee the development of user guides for various Auditor systems and modules; create and maintain system documentation that describes technical architecture and system design; create and maintains database documentation to be used as a reference guide.
Financial Systems Analyst Ii
Participate in and coordinate the design, testing, implementation, and evaluation of automated and manual financial accounting and payroll systems. Financial Systems Analyst II is distinguished by its responsibility for coordinating the design, modification, and implementation of a full range of financial accounting and payroll systems, including large, complex, Countywide systems, such as the Financial Management Information System and Pay+.1. Evaluate manual and automated financial accounting and payroll work processes, systems, and procedures for efficiency of workflow and conformance to principles of government accounting and payroll.2. Obtain input and feedback on system needs from appropriate parties; conduct or obtain evaluations of system performance and makes modifications or adjustments as necessary. 3.Review and evaluate proposals for new departmental systems involving financial accounting and payroll methods, policies, and procedures, and recommends needed improvements; evaluate internal controls and security of new and existing automated accounting and payroll applications to ensure adherence to auditing standards; monitor the procurement, development, and implementation of those systems to ensure proper integration with other financial accounting and payroll systems;4.Prepare and present comprehensive evaluations, proposals, and recommendations to executive management, advisory committees, and elected officials; Ability to: gather and analyze data, develop solutions, project consequences, and evaluate results; establish and maintain working relationships with a variety of County staff and vendors; interact with staff with limited computer knowledge; prepare a variety of written documents; make presentations to groups; maintain impartiality and objectivity; delegate work; balance competing priorities; gain cooperation and consensus through discussion and persuasion; represent the department with tact and diplomacy.

Financial Systems Analyst
Assists in maintaining all aspects of the Integrated Financial Administration System (IFAS), and other financial systems used by the foundation. Responsible for general system administration functions, including integrity checks with Advance, the gift system, and Fundriver, the endowment management system. Assists with web forms, work flows, security access, and reports related to the foundation’s financial systems. Apply a working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Non-profit Reporting requirements to all work flows and reports.
