My primary role as an Admissions Representative at Cayuga Community College is to contact, interview, recruit, and enroll potential students. I guide the prospective student through the enrollment completion process, to help ensure a successful transition into higher education. I work with a diverse student inquiry population and have a high level of account management skills that include but are not limited to, customer service and follow up. I manage heavy in/outbound phone contact with company and self generated leads. I set and conduct on-campus interviews and tours with prospective students, as well as coordinating and presenting programs with various high schools and organizations. I complete administrative work and follow up with potential students through the enrollment completion process up to and including active attendance in school acting as a liaison between the student and appropriate College departments to facilitate the best in student experience. I am responsible for networking with a variety of contacts including existing students to promote the College and generate personal leads. I maintain a high level of productivity to meet and exceed established Admissions goals and operate within the highest ethical standards and integrity in all aspects of the position performing all other duties as assigned.My personal goal as an Admissions Representative is to ensure that all eligible students receive the equity and access required to achieve their academic goals. I worked in conjunction with the Vice President, Student Affairs and Director of Admissions to implement and roll out the use of AdmitHub at Cayuga Community College. I was responsible to partner directly with College Directors on all aspects of content development and integration success. I onboarded, and trained all college staff on effective practices by combining quantitative data and qualitative context (through call recordings, live monitoring, email review, etc.) to identify skill gaps and growth opportunities for the use of AdmitHub at our organization.I helped build a team that is focused on constantly leveraging a growth mindset for our work with students.

Founded in 2007, the Zombie Research Society (ZRS) is dedicated to raising the level of zombie scholarship in the Arts and Sciences. ZRS Members represent diverse backgrounds, interests, and theories, but are unified in their support of the Society's three foundational principles:1) A zombie is a biologically definable, animated being occupying a human corpse.2) The zombie pandemic is coming. It's not a matter of if, but a matter of when.3) Enthusiastic debate about zombies is essential to the survival of the human race.

The Leadership Oswego County program explores community trusteeship, leadership skills, current issues and networking with a diverse group of community residents. Key community members mentor and share with participants the skills and knowledge needed to be effective leaders. Graduates of the program are better prepared to serve the community in the roles of a board member, citizen, employee or volunteer with organizations that serve Central New York.

I have been on the planning board for the Scare-a-con (scareacuse) Horror, Sci-Fi, and Pop Culture convention since it's origin in September 2011. My team members and I successfully and for the past 3 years have hosted the Zombie Bash, and more recently (starting in 2013- also host the V.I.P celebrity party). These parties entertain the thousands of Scare-a-con convention guests and are a highlight of the weekend.We provide the set-up, decor, and entertainment for these parties. As well as marketing the event to drive high levels of attendance. We also work with suppliers, contractors, employees, wait staff and many other parties at the same time. My strong customer service and interpersonal skills are required as I staff the events- and remain a calm, friendly presence providing support, special effects makeup, entertainment, and a constant smiling face!My team and I also hand-make the decor for these unique soirees ensuring they are one of a kind and memorable to the guests.I am currently planning the 2015 VIP celebrity bash with my team (which is attended by all celebrity guests in attendance at the Scare-a-con convention) and the Zombie Massacre-ade Ball for this upcoming convention!
