As Coordinator of Dual Enrollment and Continuing Education, I am responsible for overseeing dual-credit enrollment with public schools across the state. Additionally, I am responsible for managing enrollment in non-credit educational courses. My responsibilities as a 911 Dispatcher/Communications Officer included:-Public Safety/ Officer Safety- Dispatched during various call scenarios relating to public safety ranging from general caller welfare to criminal complaints. While doing so, I adhered to strict policy and procedures for determining the safety of the caller and responding units.-Radio Operation- Handled multi-channel radio operation for Police, Deputies, Emergency Medical Services, and Fire Units. -Data Entry/ Call Documentation- Documented all calls for service and also entered warrant information. -9-1-1 Operation- Operated as a 9-1-1 dispatcher for various emergency scenarios. Was required to receive and document the call while simultaneously dispatching responding units.-Emergency Medical Dispatch- Pre-arrival medical instructions during 9-1-1 calls. -Telephonic Communication- Operated multi-line 9-1-1 and landline phones during calls for service.-Multitasking- Multitasked throughout the day. Many of the above listed responsibilities demanded my attention separately or all at once.-Hiring Board Responsibilities- Interviewed applicants and helped select the new hires.
