Over the year I supported Sony Europe’s SBO Logistics team helping to drive efficiency and continuous improvement. As a result, I analysed performance of various Sony products and prepared reports which analysed sales and volumes to enhance operational planning across Europe. Most notably I transferred these systems across to PowerBi automating these processes. Additionally, I was responsible for invoice management and the analysis of SEU’s COGS accruals. As a result, I assisted with the analysis of Sony’s performance creating monthly presentations on the trends of actual figures against that predicted in budget and forecast. Indicatively, I aided in finding patterns in customer profiles and ultimately cost-saving initiatives that the company could take on. Most notably, I played a critical role in formulating and devising the logistics forecast and budget structure for the Semiconductor company within SEU.

This part time job was quite considering considering I had to converse in Dutch to customers given that I am not fluent in this language. However, I enjoyed the challenge of being exposed to Dutch in this environment.

As a competitive swimmer with vast experience in the sport, I took a leadership role coaching children how to swim whilst also advising fellow coaches on how to best coach their swimmers.
