I draw on my experience in business and education to work with corporate executives on developing their presentation, storytelling and strategic development skills, focusing on leadership, team-building, mentoring and the creation of fit-for-purpose content. I act as a sparring partner and mentor, developing my clients' ability to communicate effectively in English while enabling key executive skills. With verifiable experience in education and training, I am a passionate, dedicated and innovative educator and coach. This experience has been gained across a variety of education sectors, ranging from English language tuition to business communication skills around the world, as well as business management training in South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana and Ivory Coast. I have extensive management experience, having planned and initiated the successful repositioning of a major Cape Town language school, and established and managed my own language school in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, until very recently. My own resilience and business perspectives have been shaped by my experience, especially the impact of Covid-19 on my industry and business, having had to reimagine and reposition it to meet the challenges of survival in a very different business environment. My greatest asset is an ability to motivate and guide people, mentoring and coaching them to achieve their goals. I derive great satisfaction from empowering my customers to see the 'big picture', to read between the lines, to find the real, often hidden, messages in communication, and to create simple, effective responses and strategies. I have always enjoyed working with people of all levels and ages, and am an enthusiastic, expert educator, course designer and coach.
