I have seen this transformation in the printing business first-hand throughout my career, across a number of different manufacturers. I'm incredibly excited to be a part of the next generation of print technology with Fujifilm.We no longer work with OEMs; instead, we own and manufacture all of our own machines. These machines operate how we think they should, in fact, how print professionals have told us they should. We have produced a new Acuity range under our new Blueprint for Wide Format. Its truly remarkable. We’ve designed it around the needs of operator, the person that actually has to produce your customers’ items. For example, larger ink systems mean less waste, as the entire ink carton empties into the bin. The new Acuity Ultra has rollers already in place. Meaning you can switch between roll-to-roll and other jobs very quickly. It’s simple, yet transformative and the thinking is targeted making printing more effective both with print speed and work flow. Meaning you can offer services that you, or your customers, may not have considered, generating extra revenue streams. You can answer “yes” to more requests and that “yes” can be applied to more questions: is this sustainable, is this recyclable, can you change between SKU’s, does this use less energy? All have the same answer. Yes. You can even demonstrate a lower carbon footprint on completed items. We know printers are being challenged on this as you have told us so. I have many years of technical and sales expertise. Worked across many manufacturers and seen the tremendous technological progress.
