Using Python and AWS Lambdas managed data driven automation tests cases that tests Amazon’s employee time tracking software. These tests are used to validate new deployments before they are set live in Fulfillment Centers across the world. I also worked on improving the test framework to decrease the amount of time it took tester to run the tests.• Using React and Flask created a set of webpages that allowed QAEs to validate test data, schedule runs, and monitor the state of runs with in the test framework. • Improved the quality of automation code by creating coding style guide and holding coding workshops with other QAEs to help grow their skills.• Setup an alpha staging site for the automation code and code reviews to help improve the code quality and reduce the amount of downtime because of bad check-ins.

Run manual and automated tests for ads against all Kindle and Fire devices to ensure the ads meet the Amazon quality bar. Work with designers and developers to resolve any bugs that arise during QA tests. Working on development of some of the team test tools. • Created a scheduling site for all automation to centralize testing, allowing testers to test ads without needing access to the devices. • Improve reliability of LCD automation as well as modify it to handle new ad types as they are rolled out.• Created Greasemonkey script to automate the Consigno tool used to track completed work, removing the need for a tester to manually enter data in to the Consigno web form after each ad had completed QA.• Worked with tools team and designers to help improve the accuracy of LCD ad preview tool.

In event failures were caused by specification changes, modified the test content. • Designed a tools to help automation, including an application that talks to NETTICA web service (DNS host for test domains) and updates MX records. • Wrote an application that took daily builds and pushed them to the test environment, signals another computer to run BVTs against the build, which generated email reports of test results.
