I was pleased to be able to incorporate my own security consultancy firm in 2011, and for over a decade I have been leading the delivery of a broad spectrum of services provided to clients around the world. These services include close protection, security consultancy, training and mentoring for private security firms, corporate entities and family offices, as well as overt and covert security services to high profile ‘at risk’ individuals, groups and assets. I play a key role in facilitating corporate events across Europe attended by high-profile private clients, entrepreneurs, media celebrities and sports personalities, and served as Head of Security for two high-net-worth families. Behind the scenes I oversee the screening, recruitment, and deployment of up to 50 security personnel, facilitate training interventions for 14 full-time staff, and maximise financial performance by ensuring effective control of annual budgets.

Play a key role in leadership and management of the British Bodyguard Association and production of The Circuit Magazine, contributing to significant growth of its subscription base.

Worked internationally as a freelance Close Protection Officer/Security Consultant.Protection details have included High Net Worth individuals, Sports Personalities, International Musicians, Celebrities, Former and Serving Politicians as well as Corporate clients CEO’s etc. Highly experienced in all aspects of personal protection, recent taskings have included - 

•Close Protection/Security Consultancy services internationally for numerous Security companies within the Private Security Industry. Proven experience and proficiency covering a broad spectrum of close protection work. 

• Roles have included Team Leader and 2IC on a variety of close protection details and corporate event tasks. Expediting sound team management and the initiation of risk management skills. Various operations have taken place in the UK and in a number of European countries with Foreign and domestic clients.

• Clients have included individuals of known wealth from diverse cultures, media celebrities, high visibility entrepreneurs, Premiership Footballers, Premiership Football Clubs, and corporate clientele. This work has enabled me to develop my own personal experience to date, streamline further knowledge and produce further client interface experience. Constantly under pressure to perform, facilitate planning and dynamic risk assessment. These tasks were conducted in the UK and Europe.

• A low profile detail has been requisite for many of these operations, I have experience in delivering both overt and covert security services for high profile and 'at risk' individuals, groups and assets.

Employed on a highly sensitive US Government sponsored project in West Africa training the Presidential Security Detail whom were tasked with protecting the newly elected President following the first democratic elections in Guinea. Involved during the course design phase as well as the delivery of the following POI - - Close Combat Techniques- Foot and Mobile Drills- Buildings, Vehicle, Person Search- Weapons Handling/Live Firing- Defensive Driving Skills/Tactics- Emergency First Aid- Rules of Engagement- Counter Surveillance- Security Advance Party- Residential Protection- CommunicationsUpon completion of the program carried out the role of Lead Mentor.

Based in Afghanistan to provide the Close Protection and the safe escort of Diplomats, Police Mentors, Prison Advisors, DIFID, British Embassy Drugs Team, Serious Organised Crime Agency and High Ranking Government Officials throughout the volatile Helmand Province and Kandahar City. Duties included the collating and delivering of intelligence reports gathered from various sources, working with, providing training and supervising Local Nationals and Ghurkha’s, assisting the Team Leader in the planning and conducting of moves, carrying out regular threat assessments and visits to high threat areas, liaising with the British Military to organise In Country fixed wing and rotary flights for FCO members, team training and the maintenance of B6 armoured vehicles.

Employed as a PSD/Mobile team member at Camp Buckmaster, Tikrit. Duties involved providing security and the safe escort of contract personnel from the client ECC working for the US Army Corps of Engineers whom are involved with UXO cleanup throughout Iraq. Employed in numerous positions within the team such as driver, rear gunner and vehicle commander. Other tasks involved working with local nationals as a guard supervisor responsible for maintaining security and co-operation with clients around Ammunition Supply Point Buckmaster.

A fulfilling and enjoyable career spanning 8 and a half years in the Parachute Regiment where much was gained and achieved, this would include gaining Operational Experience in many hostile environments such as Northern Ireland, Sierra Leone, Macedonia and Afghanistan. Employed in all aspects of a Machine Gun platoon, including operating and instructing on medium and heavy machine guns and mobile weapons platforms. During my final two years I was selected for the prestigious and influential position of a Cpl Instructor at the Infantry Training Centre, a challenging role which developed skills such as Lesson Planning, Risk Assessment, Mentoring and delivering quality training to recruits.OPERATIONAL TOURS2002/03 – Northern Ireland - Deployed to Northern Ireland as a Team Commander in South Armagh, one of my other roles was to help with the running of the stores and issuing of kit.2001 – Afghanistan - Deployed to Afghanistan as a 2IC/Team Commander as a member of the International security and assistance force (ISAF), on a peace enforcement mission following the downfall of the Taliban regime. Tasks included mobile and foot patrols, base security quick reaction force, escorts and enforcing a curfew.2001 – Macedonia - Deployed to Macedonia as a 2IC/Team Commander as part of Task force harvest (TFH) to provide security for weapon collection to be carried out from non-government forces throughout the country.2000 – Sierra Leone - Deployed to Sierra Leone attached to 1 Para battle group as part of a services assisted evacuation of British nationals from Freetown and to provide a deterrent against The Revolutionary United Front (RUF) from attempting to take the capital.1998/99 – Northern Ireland - Deployed as a member of a four man team which made up a twelve man multiple tasked with patrolling hard line republican areas on foot, base security, providing a quick reaction force and the manning of an overt observation tower.
