ECO was responsible for effectively managing all collateral pools to ensure the most efficient use of collateral across the firm. Specific tasks include the following:Manage the optimisation of all collateral pools (cash & non cash) and the balance sheet allocation of house collateral requirements.Analysis and KPI metrics of: CTD, CTS, and overall costs including TPA. Ensuring regulatory requirements are met across the collateral space.Assist on all broad macro collateral issues including MI, architecture, interoperability, network management, tri-party agents & costs, clearing and uncleared.

Established the ECO desk with primary focus on ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements and development of business opportunity across the region.

Collateral Strategy - Counterparty Exposure Management (CEM). Primary responsibilities:Drive the integration of Collateral Management within the front office and align collateral strategy with that of the wider businessResponsibility and sign off for the Collateral P&L.Drive collateral optimisation behaviours across the firm.Develop and own business plan for expansion of Collateral and Risk Services, a collateral outsourcing service.

Derivatives - Head of Business Delivery and Project Manager. GBM Risk, Business Change Management (Trading Book)Responsible for GBM Credit Risk business delivery across the Phoenix programme (multi-year programme, £15m budget).Primary activity was to replace the legacy Credit Risk system Sabre (14+ years).

Mandated to set up the FOCM structure within RBS Greenwich Capital. Implemented the FOCM infrastructure and operating model across the North American businesses. Designed and implemented local business strategy and plans through consultation with senior Credit Risk, Trading and Sales personnel.
