My team is responsible for designing, implementing and developing on a next generation, digital-first platform that powers all of the Weather Company's digital video properties. This includes ingest, management and distribution to multiple different partners and properties in a near real-time environment. We work very closely with production, development, and product teams to provide cutting edge solutions for a wide range of business needs. Our video platform has served as many as 70+ million successful video plays, and over a petabyte of data in one day to customers around the world. On any given day we process and deliver as many as 7,000+ different videos assets with an uptime of 99.9%

I was responsible for supporting a complex system that handled all video content throughout the Weather Channel's digital and broadcast infrastructure. This includes bringing content to Weather.com, The Weather Channel, and mobile applications. Day to day task's include -Ensuring the health and stability of all applications.-Meeting with development teams and leadership to ensure that changes are brought into production in a timely and efficient manner. -Responding to critical incidents and outages 24x7 365 days a year.
