Formed and managed a multi-disciplinary team of people tasked with ensuring that all client orders, from single item supply only orders to major network installations, were accomplished on time and to the agreed specifications. Took the company from non-ISO practices to an ISO 9001 compliant organisation including jointly writing the company Quality Manual and conducting the internal eduction and audit process. The company decided not to seek ISO 9001 accreditation but retained the Quality Manual and standardised working practices established.

Responsible for UK, Ireland and Sweden with periodic temporary attachments to Brussels.Major achievement - took over an over-running and over-budget project to move the Dublin business unit into new premises and opened the office on time and within budget. Integrated the Swedish business unit into the main European business (from an operational standpoint) and provided on-site and remote assistance / overwatch during the transition.

Ran the administration team responsible for all sales and stock administration for the National Electronics Distribution Centre handling some 250 +orders per day. Orders varied from a packet of connectors to 40foot trailer loads of pallets of (then) CAT4 UTP cable. Included order entry, processing, invoicing, stock control (perpetual inventory cycles) and adjustments, investigation of non-payable vendor invoices, RMA procedures, stock rotations. Major achievements: Set up and ran stock rotation system with major suppliers which resulted in over £1m of redundant stock being rotated out for current version replacements.Handled significantly increased numbers of orders without increasing headcount.
