Having begun as a Graduate I have progressed to the position of Senior Analyst in the Global & Middle Markets Cluster of Deloitte’s Assurance & Advisory practice.My major clients are NYSE or LSE listed Private Equity, Alternative Investment and Asset Management corporations. This has granted me significant exposure to industries such as Commercial Property, Infrastructure, Logistics and Renewables.I have also gained exposure on a FTSE 100 Multinational Advertising Company as well as numerous technology focused companies.I have gained experience working on post-acquisition engagements including the acquisition of one of Australia's largest logistics businesses by a global alternative asset manager. The enterprise value of the deal was greater than AU$10 billion.I was recognized for my contribution to this engagement with a Deloitte Outstanding Contribution & Innovation award for "Consistently making brave choices and finding new and different ways to deliver their work".In addition to my role I am also a member of the following teams at Deloitte:- Innovation Team: An avenue to apply my interests in implementing innovative business practices.- Business Development Team: Assisting the BD team by analyzing prospective clients- Champion Member of the Deloitte Foundation: A skills-based volunteering role. We aim to assist charities by advising across a range of functions to design, implement or report on their programs or operations.

I was engaged by the entity to independently advise on the strategic direction of the company's expansion into the Australia and New Zealand region, as well as liaise with key stakeholders to manage the formation of the local entity. This includes advising on effective corporate structures for the Australian entity, valuations, venture and private capital funding, market analysis and staffing arrangements.

Prostar Capital is an Asia-Pacific focused Private Equity Fund focusing on investment opportunities in midstream energy infrastructure. This position started as a one month internship however, I was given the opportunity to continue in the capacity of an analyst whilst completing my Master's Degree. I assisted with M&A transaction management, financial modelling and valuations as well as due diligence processes. This role gave me an insight into LBO strategies and trust structures.I was also responsible for company, industry and regional analysis and assisted with the creation of pitch-book presentations and investor information memoranda. This experience was largely gained working on the close of a US$60 million dollar deal and the assessment of a potential circa US$550 million dollar acquisition. In addition to several other projects, ranging from deal origination to post acquisition management.

In November 2013 I commenced a three-month traineeship at Kodari Securities, a leading investment advisory firm. Due to my exceptional performance throughout the trainee program I was promoted to the position of Associate working directly with the Head of Equities.I was consistently a highest earning sales representative, having developed a passion for this process. Realising the importance of developing relationships and effectively addressing client problems was key to this.My role as an Associate had additional focus on: - Building relationships with our clients, with training in effective negotiation and sales techniques.- Training in equity market operations, stock and market analysis as well as portfolio and client management. - Developing leadership and team work skills, by having a responsibility to train, develop and ultimately inspire new trainees, as well as contribute anything deemed necessary to support the desk.

I have completed a full time internship at Octagon working in both the Marketing team and Athletes and Personalities division. This was a fully involved program, which gave me great exposure and experience within a large marketing agency. I assisted by managing client programs as well as creating content. I gained experience working on our client Lion Nathan’s brand (the largest selling beer brand in Australia) XXXX Gold. I worked on the XXXX Gold Beach Cricket event and XXXX Gold’s Island media and events. I also gained experience working with the client MasterCard, whereby I was given the opportunity to organise with the team and then manage solo their VIP bar and Promotional Teams at the Sydney Opera House for the Just for Laughs Festival.
