Summer InternFda Jul 2017 - Sep 2017United StatesI worked in the Office of Drug Evaluation IV with Dr Jian Wang. The project I worked on was the prediction of neonatal renal function. The goal of this project was to develop a guide to help dosing of renally cleared drugs in neonates.Additionally, I was also working with the Division of Maternal and Pediatric Health with Lily Mulugeta. The major project I worked on was investigating the extend of extrapolation possible in adolescents for schizophrenia products. The goal of this project was to use Bayesian analysis to design a future trial for a schizophrenia product in adolescent patients. During this time I was able to attend the weekly Pediatric Review Committee (PeRC) meeting, DPMH division meetings, a workshop on pediatric trial design and a workshop on pediatric dose selection.
