At the heart of my role as director at Transcend Capital is leading teams in finding corporate finance solutions to business challenges. I primarily provide transaction advisory services to multinationals and South African corporates – working with C-level executives to structure and implement optimal and sustainable Employee Share Ownership Plan (ESOP) and Broad-based Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) transactions. Following enriching experiences at Deloitte and Credit Suisse, in 2007 I joined the then start-up Transcend Capital and have had the pleasure of being involved in growing this business from strength to strength.Our ethos at Transcend Capital goes beyond traditional consultancy. Our mission is straightforward yet ambitious: to provide advisory services that transcend the ordinary. We are partners first, dedicated to understanding our clients' visions and tailoring strategies that not only address immediate needs but lay the groundwork for long-term success. This approach has made us leaders in our field and trusted advisors to our clients. By nature, I relish analysis and problem-solving. I am driven to identify and implement opportunities for value-adding outcomes - combining strategic thinking and a comprehensive blend of corporate finance, legal, commercial, employee ownership, BEE, and tax expertise. In addition to being beneficial for the implementing company, I strongly believe in the power of well-structured ESOPs and BEE transactions to strengthen South Africa from a socio-economic perspective and to create a more solid base off which the country can grow.
