The main purpose of this initial seven month contract was to lead the implementation of a new ERP System (Deltek Vision). The system includes modules for finance, project management, timesheets, expenses, event management, budgeting, planning and purchasing. Also to test and document the transactional processes & system reporting functionality. Implementation was completed after five months followed by a additional months of end user training and a system enhancement period.

Responsible for the design, implementation and ownership of an Excel costing ‘tool’ used to estimate cost and determine the price for our tenders. I deliver ad-hoc system data analysis, project performance reviews, calculating annual cost assumptions and charge-out rates. Provide cover for the finance team while dealing with internal and external queries. Also a member of the major projects tendering team.

I covered the Project Accountant role for five months until an internal reshuffle led to the role being filled. Responsible for the forecasting accuracy of 150+ projects on a monthly basis, revenue forecasting and reconciling of transactions in the project ledger back to the management accounts.

This involved managing system improvements, bug fixing, upgrades and ad-hoc reporting requirements against budget, time and system based constraints.
