About Dr Shaun Ziegenfusz

My vision is to improve the lifelong outcomes for all people with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD). I am the Co-CEO & Co-Founder of The DLD Project, a social enterprise changing the future of DLD in Australia. I also work as a Lecturer at Griffith University where I completed the Doctor of Philosophy program. I investigated the education needs and supports for school-aged students with DLD. My passion is blending clinical experience and research to support people with DLD, families, professionals and schools. I volunteer for the Raising Awareness of Developmental Language Disorder (RADLD) International Committee, as well as chair The DLD Project Foundation Board. Locally, I am the Speech Pathology Australia Queensland Branch Co-Chair to support member engagement for the 3000+ speech pathologists across the state.
