• Designing Embedded Systems for automation of Laboratory equipments like Blood Smear Applicator, WeldCheck, Automated Slide Stainer which employed various motors, actuators, and sensors, touchscreen displays which all worked together to produce a desired output. • Designing electronic systems for Microscopes which employed Advance LED control, used different sensors to produces feedback based on Motion, Objective Position, control of motorized stage and nosepiece. I also program their LCD displays to show all the data from different sensors and could also be used to control them using a Touchscreen as well. • Drawing Schematics and Designing PCB of these embedded systems. Assembling the manufactured PCB, performing tests and troubleshooting as per standards. Writing firmware for the MCU installed in these systems. Creating and maintaining the overall development environment for testing and integration.• Software Development using Image Processing Algorithms with Computer Vision for different applications related to microscopy like Haematology, Dimension Profiling etc. Developed GUI based desktop image processing software that interact with different Cameras used in microscopes, capture data and apply appropriate image processing algorithm based on the application. I have also used different protocols for communication between the software and embedded systems to share sensor data. Here I developed “Hemalite” for Automatic WBC Classification and “Profile Pro” dimension profile verification software.
