I am deeply engaged in addressing the challenges of sustainable development and climate change. My work integrates mindfulness, systems thinking, and rigorous empirical approaches to develop relevant, practical strategies, while occasionally incorporating theoretical insights. Driven by curiosity, I explore diverse perspectives and unconventional pathways, fostering connections across various fields and disciplines.Currently, I serve as a researcher at the Global Centre for Environment and Energy at Ahmedabad University, India, and as the Contact Point for the Mitigation Working Group (MWG), YOUNGO, UNFCCC. Alongside this, I am pursuing a Master’s degree in International Relations at Pandit Deendayal Energy University, Gandhinagar, India and a postgraduate diploma in Environmental Law and Policy from WWF India and National Law University Delhi. My research and strategy development span the science-policy interface of sustainable development, climate change mitigation and communication, energy, international relations, policymaking, and urban planning.I had the privilege of closely assisting the United Nations (UN) - Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)’s Working Group III (WGIII) Co-Chair and Technical Support Unit (TSU), contributing to key reports such as the Special Report on Climate Change and Land (2019), the Mitigation of Climate Change Report (2022), and the Synthesis Report (2023) during the Assessment Report Six (AR6) cycle. These experiences have deepened my understanding of global climate governance and the science-policy interface.Earlier in my career, at the Centre for Urban Equity at CEPT University, India, I led projects focused on inclusive urban development and climate resilience, including "Building Inclusive Urban Communities" (Erasmus+ Programme) and "Inclusive Urban Housing as Climate Change Strategy" (MoEFCC). These projects continue to shape my approach to sustainable development in the urban context.I hold a bachelor’s degree in urban planning from CEPT University, and I approach global challenges with curiosity, creativity, and empirical research to develop thoughtful, practical solutions.
